Love Uncondtional

You know that we are a very busy family. We have five kids, six animals and at football everynight. So I thought I would take a little time to photo the only one who loves the camera. My son loves our dog soooooo much it kind is hard to not let him love her, but today she was returning his love today.

I love this picture. We just had a little vacation with our family up in Maine. everyday I would take my kidos down to the beach and let them play. James loved to discover crabs. He would scream so loud when he would find one, so here he is with one of his favorite critters and holing it up for me to see. I love this little guy.

I have two available, however if you can get a group order of 10 or more I can get more from my publisher.

This has been review by The Old School House, as a excellent book to have.

This is a picture of my son considering giving his aunt a kiss and this was the face I would get out of him.

This is my cat Rose. She was just laying around and I wanted a picture of her and the light was just right and caught her eye. I think it is a really neat picture. She is finally a sweet cat.

Well where to start we have done so much this summer I would have a blogger for it alone. But, since I dont' want to do that I guess I will just give this little one for everyone else to love. The other day we were in the back yard it was about 8:30 am and it was already 100 degrees so the kids asked if they could play in there little pool. So I said sure why not! Now it's that what Summer is for! So they all scream and get there suits on and then they all take turns doing this!

We made it we are home safely and all is well. It was hard for the kids to not beat on each other after 26 hours in the car. We miss Maine the cold weather and the amazing view. That is a place to go back to on our next visit. However, the tolls and the long hours in the car are more then enough to put some distance between visits. Here is a picture I took the morning I left to come back to South Carolina. I will miss this morning wake up!.

Another Fine Day!

We have been in Maine awhile, and since we have been here is has had a total of, I think 4 days of sun. Yesterday we visited a beautiful park and walk 3.5 miles in and 3.5 miles out, not to mention the walking on the beach.

Now I have been all over the country and let me tell you each one speaks of different time and picturest beauty. I love the sandy beaches of the West coast and South, mostly for building sand castles and just play.

However the rocky beach are full of discovery. The life in the water speaks of different elements and times. The kids just love the little water pools streaming with aquatic life, the little sea animals trapped in the tide pools really make their day. It has truly been an adventure that will be talked about for years to come.

Ok, here it is. Week 29's contest is all about The Beach!

I find that I love the beach more then you can know. We have spent some of the most wonderful times as a family there. I found that some of the kids most precious memories are of the beach. We are in Maine this week and we went over to a National Wild Life refuge that is about 10 miles down the road. When we got there, it still had a fine mist over the beach and my oldest son was helping my youngest walk down the rocks to the water to explore. This was such a precious piture to me. There is 8 years age diffrence with the two of them, the little one adores his big brother.

When you think of fun I think of beaches, swimming and time with family and friends. When I was a little girl. My mom and dad invested in a Nikon camera, 35 mm. Now they consider it a dinasour. I have had my share of cameras and learned a lot from my dad in taking pictures and just from reading, since that is what you do when you want to be the best. Then the next step is to pratice. I have entered contest over the years and have had a lot of great sucess. I love to know someone besides myself things it is a pretty great picture. Anyhow, I have found a great site that is all about pictures. It is call I love faces.

Anyhow they do lots of contests and lot of fun things for beginners. Take a look around and get some help, ideas etc.

Time in Maine

Man oh Man.
This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The weather is wonderful. Even though it has been rainy it does warm up and get sunny in the afternoon. The walk in the afternoon on the beach is always a true adventure. The kids excitement is beyond words.

The other day we want on an adventurous walk to explore the rocks. We hopped down the rocks to the slimy seaweed covered rocks, to learn that if you don't plan your foot right then your butt will be planted just right after your fall.

The little ones took a couple spills just to make sure they the best walk they could get. So our adventure was to go down and find crabs, muscles, any kind of sea life, and my favorite is finding sea glass. So off we go. It is truly amazing to see that little island are created just by muscle shells. Indian legend is that they would take the shells in boat and dump them in the sea and create island, and there are island that are just muscle shells and that is it.

So walking down on the sea line has been fun seeing the crabs and the brine shrimps. We have found parts of lobsters but haven't found a whole one. Unless you count buying them. It has been fun to just get out and explore the sea side.

I think the best part of the walk was when they actually thought they could get out on the water line to find themselves swallowed into the mud. The suction that held them there was amazing. So here you have kids stuck in the mud and laughing, into an almost panic state. You not wanting to get muddy. Yell stay calm we will get you out.

So you send the siblings out after said sunk sibling. They pull and tug and finally get them out of the mud. Shoe are an option. However we have found over trial and error that if you sink with them on then you might as well kiss them goodbye, unless you are willing to dig for them. So here we are on a wonderful summer adventure of mud bugging.

We have learn a few important things here. I have found that no matter if they rinse in the water they still smell of fish. No matter how many times you think that they will stay clean that is when they get the dirtiest. So you let them have fun and know that there is always a show to clean them up and soap to make them smell better. In the end of the day the memories that they have and can share are priceless.

State Final Games

Here it is! I am so proud of my son, Isaiah! This was a tough series for them to even keep there heads up in.

Let me back up, and tell you how they came to this spot. My son started out in Summerville Little League. He was a catcher for his team, this year. At the end of the year, the coaches nominate the best players on their team, only one catch. The coaches can only select two players from their team.

The selection is divided into divisions for the league. You have coach pitch, minors, majors, and seniors. Only the top one or two player off of each team in that division are nominated and only 13 are selected. Keep in mind that we had 56 team this year. Isaiah was number one pick for his position, catcher. Four other boys were nominated, but Isaiah was the one that held the position, and was taken to All Stars. The played against another All Star team from Summerville. They have an American and Nationals team. Isaiah was on the American. They played a three game series. First game was against Crowfield. The boys worked hard, played hard and smashed the other team. The final score was 19-0 in the top of the fourth inning. The were so excited excited. The game was called in the fourth inning, due to a 10 run game rule. That way they don't feel worse then they already do. Next game was against the National League Summerville team. That game was tie all the way through till the last inning. This game was so intense. The boys would go to the field and get in position and catch all the balls or strike them out at first base. Then come right back in. The other team would do the same. It was so frustration to those boys. The last up to bat for the other team, dumb errors let them win the game. They brought in runs they shouldn't have gotten. So they took the loss bad.

The boys took it hard, thinking they would not go any further. The next night, the National team from Summerville played Crowfield. They killed them 17-0 top of the 4th inning. That put Summerville back into the lead for State Championship. Now I will be honest. If I would have know how bad they were going to be killed in State I would have never wanted them to go.

The kids that went to state, no from Summerville. Those kids were suppose to be selected from the top kids from each league. However they did not do that, they put all the travel ball kids on the top teams so there was no competition at all for those pour kids. They were slaughtered right out the gate. They couldn't keep up with the kids. These kids were so good that they made NO errors. No over throws, no mistakes.

Our kids were crushed and it was so sad to see them leave the park every night knowing that the next day they were going to do it again. They went through this constant beating 5 games.

However on their bright side, after being verbally abused by the coach. Crushed spirits and heart broken these kids came back to the park the next day and played the game of there lives.

They played a team that was up on them 4-1 in the top of the third inning. I decided a peep talk was in order. I looked at those boys and said " You boys are better then this. Don't let them win, you are not that far down you can get three runs in one inning".

The boys came up to bat, got on base, second boy came to bat, hit it rolled to there short stop and he picked it up, threw the ball and the first base men missed the ball. The boy contiued around to second base and the first boy made it home. Third boy hit and brings in the other two boys and now they are tied. They stayed tied till the sixth inning where they made one mistake and lost the game. However, they worked hard and got back on top. Now they are finished and they did great considering what they went through to come back and loose anyway. So long story short I think I have a pretty great kid. Played hard was verbally abused by his coach and still played for him anyhow.

This is the final picture of the year! Isaiah you are awsome.

Shared via AddThis

Well for those of you who know me it has been a busy last 4 months.

It has been baseball, baseball, baseball. I can honestly say that when I sleep I dream baseball. I decided to take on helping run the concession stand. I know you all are thinking what would you do that for. Well let me explain. It has been very hard for the little league to have parents volunteer. If I wouldn't have stepped up then there would have been no one to help bring in the extra money that is required to run the faculty. The concession stand is what pays our lights, umpires, grass care, dirt or the field etc. I think you get the picture. So with all of that, I needed a break. I drove up to Maryland to surprise my husband for fathers day. Boy he was surprised. He couldn't stop telling me that he was glad that we came. I had a great time with as well. We decided to go into D.C. We got to the metro around 4:00, payed for the tickets and headed up to the train. Now lets imagine 10 kids 9 of them that can talk, all looking for the train. It just seems like they really keep you on your toes. You have the boys, leaning over the track to see it coming in. The girls giggling because they are girls. Then you have to tell them not to cross the line. Then you have the little boy and little girl that that doesn't apply to so you have to put the lock down on them to keep them from stepping further then you. It is all a sport to get to D.C.. So we get on the train and there is stop and go at 80 miles and hour. I am having flash backs to the times of living there and it has been a while, to say the least. However, the reality of it is it was just like yesterday. We get about 7 stops in and find out there has been a disaster on the red line. The conductor just keeps saying every 5 minutes that he is not sure but there are trains stopped and we are waiting. In the dark in a tunnel. I think we waited there about an hour. Then the trains started to move. After we were almost to our destination we find out that a couple of the trains have collided on the track and that they have shut the red line down. We are praising the lord that we were not on that train.

The train gets us to Metro Station and we need to switch trains but the little ones bladders are not going to allow for us to get on another train with out relief. So we emerge from the tunnels below the city to find a restroom. We came out about 4 blocks short of the destination we were destined for. We find a McDonald's, walk in head to the bathroom and find that you have to get a token from the counter to even get in. So go to the counter get the token, take all the kids, get out and find that now it is 6:45 and all the museums are going to be closing in 15 minutes. Now we are all disappointed. So we figure lets make the best out of this and we will walk the kids tired. So we headed for the Washington Monument. It is beautiful and the grass is covered in people playing softball, running, kickball, and kite flying. It is amazing that people just go about with these amazing historical monuments behind them. The city is under constuction every where you look and the sky is a mixture of beautiful colors, mixed with stormy skies. The monuments where set in an incredible background.

We walk the kids, over to the Jefferson Monument and then my brother in law say, I know know why we never get all the way there. It was a long walk and only halfway there just decided to take pictures. Then turned and went to the WWII monument. That monument speaks words that can never capture the true essence of what happened. Set between the Washington and Lincoln Monument it is picturesque. The only thing that takes the beauty from me is one of my kids turns to me and says WOW mom that is the same place that is in Night in the Museum. That was a great show mom. OK, now they all start in on how great that movie is and now want to go to the air and space museum. So they know now why they are there.

We decided it was time to go home sun has set and it is dark. Kids are tired and so are moms and dads. We get back on the metro head home and hit the sack. To return to life and be team mom, concession stand coordinator, and BOD person. So back to life.

Hello All,

So it has been awhile, I think the last time I wrote, my grandmother had passed away. It has been very hard on me. I really miss her a lot, she taught me a lot in my years. I will miss her always.

Well today I am going to share all the fun things I did this morning. Like a google search for free pet meds or supplies. Well as you all know with time being tough you have to find something free. Anyhow I found a great site that you can pick and choose what you want. Just follow the link below and you can have them too.

http://www.all-free-samples.com/home/pets.php

Just choose the ones you want free and then fill the information out.

A Time of Peace

Today, I got a phone call from my mom. She told me that my grandmother died. However I know that she died in peace. I know that she went to be with Jesus. I know that means more to me then anything. I prayed with her before she passed away. I prayed that she would make peace with Jesus and then go be with him. Shortly after we prayed my grandmother left this world and went to her final place of rest with Jesus. So thanks for all the prayers and thanks for the shoulders.

Making It!

I think I am going to make it! We are starting baseball and trying get it all sorted out. Got the boys going on there teams but yet have not heard a word from either of the girls team. It truly amazes me that it can really be that disorganized in this league. Anyhow, On to my next thought.

We went to Georgia yesterday and decided that we would go to Hobby Lobby, I love that store. I walked around and looked at all the bead. You know what get me is you can go bankrupt in buying all the stuff you need to make one cute thing. So anyhow, I decided that I wanted to try and make my own earrings. I did it. They are so cute and man it seemed a little hard at the beginning but after all the kids spilled the beads at least once. I finally got a pair maid. So I will be posting later what they look like and what kind of comments I get from them.

Well here we are another fine day.

I woke up in a mad rush. Didn't sleep well due to baby scratching, what that little boy was scratching was beyond me. I still don't know. Maybe a dream that he was itching. I gave him some water and boom back to a slumber sleep he went. However I didn't sleep so when my wonderful husband woke up to find his pants. I was not coherent. I was like what did you say? Well try the laundry room look in the dryer. Well he looked in our sons room and no luck. Well when I finally made it down stairs to check the dry guess what there they were. Jake gone and pants in hand. Isn't it funny how, they were right where I said. Anyhow, we did a little Wii action today and man, that game is just not for me. The kids kill me. My seven year old son tell me mom, what to play baseball? I say sure how hard can it be. Well let me tell you it is a lot harder then it looks. He says mom look it is just like real ball, I'll tell you when to swing. Ya right trust the seven year old well guess what I listened and still didn't do good. So I guess when no one is around I will have to practice. Give me a good old game of Price is Right and I will kill you. It is my game. That one the kids do bad on. LOL
Then off to our favorite store SAM'S that is the place I love to just look. We did a little walk around and let me tell you almost all thing I checked on had either gone up a dollar but somethings had gone up two dollars what is it. Now if we are in a recession then what the Hell are people buying these 1400.00 flat screen T.V and winning about not making a house payment. Well lets think about it. We can live under the TV and it will keep us dry and war. OK so maybe I don't get it. Maybe I wrong, I think everyone should run out and buy flat screen TV because they look nice. Well, OK then so be it. I must just be one of those losers that just isn't cool enough to have one. Well I guess when they are 200.00 I will consider it. Not!

Well anyhow that is my rant sorry. Have a good evening.

Hello everyone!

I am going to try and make this intesting along with fun. I have lots of thoughts that I wanted to share with people so check back and see where I am in my daily thoughts, weather it be herbs, oils, family, love or just what ever. This will be my wall. My diary and what ever else I can think of.

Thanks

Hello to all, I guess this is the best way to get my thoughts out without really keep a diary. It has been a tought year getting through all the travel and keeping up with school and making sure that the kids (get it). There have been many days that they come to class and just go through the motions and you think to yourself, did they get what I just said? Or is any one even in there! I thought that someone came and changed out my kids that other day. It was like everything over the last few years just wansn't there in there heads. So after a little time and lots of prayer, all is well. So now on to getting ready for the next year. The ordering of books, and the excitement of getting the next level. So here we are excited about what the next year holds.
